Evernote for Lesson Planning:

I recently ran across an article about using Evernote for Lesson Planning....After reading it I really understood how great of a tool it could be to support keeping track of ideas for a great lesson.  You can upload images, video and use the voice tool to make reminder notes to yourself.  I use Evernote to take notes but was glad to think outside the box on other uses of this great organization tool.  Below is a tutorial video on Evernote.  A great place to start to check out his tool

Literacy Shed

I wanted to share a cool website that I ran into completely on accident. Literacy Shed

What is Literacy Shed?  A wealth of visual resources in sheds that are broadly thematic.  Most of the resources can be used as stand alone literacy lessons or can support literacy units. They can be used as a digital resource to accent a current lesson.

Enjoy!

I would also encourage  you to check out this Prezi created by Pip Cleaves.  It includes links to 70+ Tools organized by Blooms Taxonomy. You can click on the links in the slides to learn more about these tools. The tools are also aligned to Blooms...great idea to support the Common Core!
